1. Introduction

Lydia's Thrift is a fintech-enabled household contribution platform that allows individuals to save through structured daily, weekly, or monthly contributions towards the acquisition of household essentials and approved products.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Lydia's Thrift, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Lydia's Thrift reserves the right to request identity verification at any time.

4. Account Registration

Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their accounts. Lydia's Thrift reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false information or engaged in fraudulent activities.

5. Contribution Plans

Lydia's Thrift offers structured contribution plans that may be daily, weekly, or monthly. Users are required to select their preferred contribution schedule and make payments according to the agreed plan. Failure to maintain contributions may affect eligibility for product acquisition and other platform benefits.

6. Household Item Acquisition

Upon successful completion of the applicable contribution plan and fulfillment of all required obligations, users may qualify to receive the selected household item, subject to product availability, verification processes, and applicable delivery terms. Lydia's Thrift reserves the right to substitute unavailable products with equivalent alternatives after notifying the user.

7. Missed Contributions

Users are expected to make contributions according to their selected schedule. Missed contributions may result in delays, suspension of the contribution plan, or other measures determined by Lydia's Thrift. Users may be required to settle outstanding contributions before proceeding with their plans.

8. Refund Policy

Refund requests shall be handled in accordance with Lydia's Thrift's Refund Policy. Approved refunds may be subject to administrative charges, verification procedures, and applicable deductions. Refund timelines shall be communicated to users upon approval.

9. Delivery of Household Items

Delivery timelines may vary depending on product availability, user location, and third-party logistics providers. Lydia's Thrift shall make reasonable efforts to ensure timely delivery but shall not be held liable for delays beyond its control.

10. Pricing and Fees

Users acknowledge that certain transactions may attract service fees, delivery fees, processing charges, or other disclosed costs. Lydia's Thrift shall provide information regarding applicable fees before users complete transactions.

11. User Responsibilities

Users agree to provide accurate information, comply with these Terms and Conditions, safeguard their account credentials, and refrain from engaging in unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activities on the platform.

12. Fraud Prevention and Account Suspension

Lydia's Thrift reserves the right to investigate suspicious activities, suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent conduct, and cooperate with relevant authorities where necessary to prevent misuse of the platform.

13. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, software, content, and materials associated with Lydia's Thrift are the intellectual property of Lydia's Thrift or its licensors. Users shall not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit such materials without prior written consent.

14. Privacy and Data Protection

Lydia's Thrift is committed to protecting users' personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information shall be governed by the Lydia's Thrift Privacy Policy.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lydia's Thrift shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform or the inability to access or use its services.

16. Modification of Terms

Lydia's Thrift reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the platform. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts within Nigeria.
